I am a Ph.D. candidate in the engineering mechanics program at Virginia Tech working with Dr. James Hanna. My research interests broadly lie in theoretical and applied mechanics. In particular, I am interested in investigating the mechanics of flexible objects like strings, rods, and membranes. Other research areas that I am interested in learning more about are fluid mechanics and statistical physics.
I seek joy in understanding nature through science and mathematics. When I am not doing research, I like to read about world history and philosophy.
